Brent Bellamy is a PhD Candidate in English and Film Studies at the University of Alberta. His dissertation is titled Residues of Now: The Culture and Politics of Contemporary U.S. Post-Apocalyptic Fiction. He co-authored an essay with Imre Szeman on Alan Weisman’s The World Without Us (2007) which will be published in Green Planets: Ecology and Science Fiction.
